QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

The ISO standards and guidelines for quality management systems are maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and administered by third party accreditation and certification bodies. Initially popular in Europe, U.S. companies began adopting the standard in the early 1980s, beginning with manufacturing. Although the standards originated in manufacturing, they are now employed across a wide range of other types of organizations, including colleges and universities.

Empowered advisors demand a support network that is second to none. Quality and performance are critical to success. That’s why United Advisors is proud to be among the first companies in financial services to adopt the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard.
